King Island

Our Melbourne Cup weekend fly-away to Hobart ended up being a day trip to King Island due to some hideous weather forecast that would have trapped us in Wynyard for a couple of days. The upside was that the day for crossing to King Island could not have been better! Nineteen people in eight planes had almost perfect conditions for the trip and we had a good feed and got some cheese whilst we were down there. Thanks to Dave Marty for all his work on this. It’s a pity so much of it had to be unstitched at the last minute. Anyway, enjoy Sonya’s pics from the day below.
