This year Yarra Valley Aviation and LFC are co-hosting a big Outback Morning Tea to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the work that they do. The Flying Doctor is there to provide care and support to rural and remote communities and a good number of our pilots and trainees will go on to work with them.
In celebration of Rev. John Flynn’s birthday (founder of RFDS) on Sunday 17 November Bronni Bowen will be cooking up a ridiculous number of her Nan’s Scones (best recipe in the world). There’ll be free tea and coffee, and you can get a big fluffy scone with a huge dollop of jam and whipped cream for $3 – with all proceeds going to our mates in the sky and the bush. Come out for chat on the grass, or maybe even book a tootle around the sky to commemorate!
