Who wants pancakes?! Sunbury (Penfield) Airport has scheduled a pancake breakfast for 10.00 am on Sunday 14 October, and LFC has a special invitation to the event. Only a quick 30-minute flight from Lilydale into this beautiful grass strip for a decent feed and great hospitality. If that doesn’t get you undoing the ropes, what will? Get your names and numbers to Steve Hitchen hitchy@iinet.net.au soonest you can so we can let them know to have plenty of pancake mix ready.
Think about combining this with a squirt around Mount Macedon (watch CTA!) or a trip back to LIL via Melton and the Western Lane just in time for sausages at home base!
Sunbury Airport is in ERSA. Main points are:
a) all circuits to the west at 2000 feet
b) close proximity of CTA to south and east, and 2500 feet overhead
c) Riddells Creek airfield 2.2 nm to the north-east
