Becoming a member of the LFC is a great way to become part of the active community of Lilydale Airport, get involved in activities and share in a mutual love of flying with friends.Family membership is $30 a year and includes access to the members forum of the website, seminars, social flying trips, the LFC mentorship program and all other social aspects of the Club.To join, simply fill in the form on the contact section of the site with your details and the LFC will respond to you shortly with information for payment, after which you’ll receive a membership card and login details for the members only section of the website.For any inquiries or further information about the benefits of membership, please contact us.

Flyaways are planned for a mixture of day trips- perhaps somewhere for lunch or aviation activity, long weekends, and the occasional longer safari type trip of a week to ten days.The flyaway subcommittee is responsible for planning trips, but any input from members for ideas or help in arranging trips would be greatly appreciated.Advance notice will be posted for trips and apart from the day trips ,deposits would be needed to secure a position. Accommodation booking for groups larger than 10 usually require a booking deposit and this may not be refundable. Obviously ,the trips are very weather dependant, and despite the committee trying to manipulate this as best we can , sometimes a trip will need to be aborted at the last minute due to weather, or perhaps only some aircraft may make it through. Flyaways offer a fantastic opportunity to make aviation friends and get immersed in the very reason we learned to fly.
