LFC is organising a formation photo shoot day to give members the opportunity to get high-quality photographs of themselves in the command seat in the air. This is a rare opportunity to get something to decorate your walls with; an image that will have visitors talking. This is not only for aircraft owners, it’s for hirers as well.
You will be seen in the command seat close-up, but won’t actually be flying. A qualified and endorsed pilot will fly from the right-hand seat … but anyone seeing the photo won’t know that. Of course, if you have a formation endorsement yourself, you can go it alone.
We have set the date for this at Sunday 31 January 2016, and are now calling for people to put their names down so we can work out the logistics of this as early as possible. Even if you have already expressed interest, please give your name to Steve Hitchen hitchy@iinet.net.au as soon as you can.
The cost to you will be the cost of operating the plane you are in, plus a per-hour charge for the C172 camera ship. At an estimate, this will be about $75-80 each for the C172.
Days like this can be very tricky to co-ordinate, so they won’t be coming around too often. Don’t miss this chance.
